This site has a lot of useful information around straw bale, including window sections, so we can get an idea on how we can build our window into the wall.

Thought this was a pretty useful video about how we could actually construct and finish our straw bale wall. We could use a mix of clay over the straw bale to waterproof it.

I've looked at this page by this Lance Kairl character a few times because it answers a lot of basic questions I had about straw bale; such as its resistances to fire and what render can be used on the straw. I found it fairly useful so far.

Thought this might be of some use into how we might build the window into the straw bale wall.
Thorough page on hay bales
Hey i found this site that goes into a lot of detail about hay bales used as walls. Did you know they are surprisingly fire resistant? That was the last thing i expected to read. They also talk about the basic measurements of hay bales so it should be easy to get a good idea of how to big to make the wall.
